IBM, ORNL and AMD launch quantum error-correction testbed: 120-qubit Nighthawk next to Umbra

IBM's 120-qubit Nighthawk now sits beside ORNL's AMD MI355X supercomputer so researchers can test error correction with fast decoding. The goal is a 230-fold jump in operations by 2028.
