Chapter 624 Denunciation Of Yael And Xander

Neville was feeling uneasy. Why am I being urged to get married even at work?

Most importantly, the person who was urging him was the superior that he feared the most.

How am I going to answer that question?

“Why are you keeping quiet? Are you all right? Were you working with Nico some time ago?”

Neville was a little stumped. “Yes, I was. Why?”

“No wonder you look so foolish and have yet to get married. You must have been influenced by him.”

Neville was dumbfounded.

Cedrick had always called Nico a blockhead. Even so, Nico had no problem finding a wife for himself. There was

news of him getting engaged. That made Neville look like a failure in his love life.

Neville was on the verge of tears.

Just as he was cracking his brain on how to answer Cedrick, someone knocked on the door.

In that instant, Neville perked up. “Boss, let me open the door.”

He turned and walked toward the door. After opening the door, he exchanged glances with the police officer before

using the opportunity to get away.

The police officer dared not enter the office. Instead, he gave his report while standing at the door. “Mr. Jenson,

your butler is here. He says he has something important to discuss with you.”

Cedrick said nothing and put Yael’s testimony aside.

Logan walked passed the police officer into the office with a serious expression. He even locked the door after that.

Cedrick did not look up. He only let out a sarcastic laugh when Logan came to the front of his table. “What a

coincidence. Tomorrow, I’ll be inviting all the esteemed elders to a meeting to denounce Yael.”

Logan sighed and said, “Mr. Jenson, you misunderstood Old Mr. Jenson. He knows that your decision is final, so he

has no intention to beg for Yael. It’s just that he notices you have been very busy lately. The other night when Mrs.

Jenson came to take Mr. Benedict and Ms. Zendaya away, you didn’t come to see Old Mr. Jenson. He’s worried

about you, so he has asked me to come and check on you.”

To that, Cedrick responded, “Now that you have seen me, you can tell that I’m fine and healthy. There’s no need for

Grandpa to worry about me.”

Logan was despondent. “Mr. Jenson, aren’t you concerned about Old Mr. Jenson?”

“He doesn’t need me to pretend to care about him. The medical corps is looking after him, so I have no worries.

Cedrick adjusted the sleeve of his military uniform nonchalantly before continuing, “By the way, since Grandpa’s leg

has been hurting, there’s no need for him to attend the ancestral hall grand assembly tomorrow. Let the medical

corps take care of him. Tell him to leave everything to me since I’m the head of the Jenson family.”

Logan was taken aback.

Although Cedrick sounded tactful, he basically did not allow Valentino to attend the meeting. He would deal with

Yael on Valentino’s behalf and cut off the old man’s ties with Yael.

“Mr. Jenson…”

Cedrick frowned in displeasure. He no longer wanted to hear another word from Logan. “I still have a lot of work at

the bureau. If there’s nothing else, please go home first, Logan. Everyone feels a lot better with you by Grandpa’s

side.”

spend some time with Old Mr. Jenson. He misses you very much.”

Cedrick acknowledged with a soft hum.

Logan knew that Cedrick had no intention to do that. He could not help but sigh before leaving his office.

The next morning at the Jenson family’s meeting room. Gwendolyn also attended the family meeting since she was

his legal wife.

Among the family, David did not attend because he was ill, so Triss came alone.

As for the younger generation, there were not many of them. Most of the attendees were older family members,

Gwendolyn chose to sit with Triss since she was familiar with her. The two women could have a chat while waiting

for the denunciation meeting to start

After around ten minutes, Cedrick made a grand entrance with Nico standing a few steps behind him.

The moment he appeared, the rest of the Jenson family stood up and greeted him, “Mr. Jenson.”

Cedrick nodded with a stern look and stepped into the meeting room in a confident manner.

Valentino was still resting in his room and did not show up for the meeting.

Out of respect, Cedrick left Valentino’s seat alone and sat on a chair next to it.

Everyone followed suit and sat down after that.

Once everyone had quietened down, Cedrick glanced at Nico.

Nico then began to make his announcement.

“For the past few days. Mr. Jenson has been investigating the car accident of Mr. and Mrs. Zack Jenson. After a

detailed investigation, he found that the accident was premeditated. The culprit is none other than Mr. Yael”

His words caused a stir in the meeting room.

Many of the attendees began to whisper and gossip among themselves.

However, some of the elders remained silent and calm. They did not look surprised at all.

Triss was the most shocked among the lot..

She widened her eyes and mouth in disbelief. “Gwendolyn, is this true? Did Uncle Yael really sabotage Uncle Zack

and his wife?”

Gwendolyn nodded and patted her hand to calm her down.

Nico coughed lightly to get everyone’s attention. Soon, the meeting room became quiet again.

Nico took out Yael’s confession and handed it over to the esteemed elders for their perusal.

“Mr. Yael is so cruel that he would even hurt his own brother. Old Mr. Jenson has been kept in the dark. When he

found out the truth, he has taken ill. An unfaithful and unfilial murderer like Yael is not fit to be a descendant of the

Jenson family. Today, Mr. Jenson will make a decision on Old Mr. Jenson’s behalf and cut all ties with Yael. Yael and

his family will be removed from the family register. From now onward, Yael and Xander no longer exist in the Jenson

family. When they are indicted, it has nothing to do with the Jenson family.”

Nico sounded very firm. In that instant, whispers broke out among the attendees.

Clarence, one of the elders who was looking through the confession, looked up in shock. “Even his family has to be

removed from the family register? Isn’t this punishment a little too harsh?”

Nico stared at Albert and Clarence and turned the table around. “Perhaps, both of you are aware of the

premeditated car accident that happened twenty years ago? The same goes for Xander’s sabotage of Old Mr.

Jenson. Or maybe, both of you are also involved in these attacks?”
