The doctor said with a tender gaze, "Whether you choose to go for counseling or not, it's entirely up to you. In

| looked down and let out a bitter chuckle. "Maybe when | have the time."

The doctor then prescribedmedicine and asked to meet my family members.

| walked out with the prescribed medicine. Tyler and Theo stood up in unison before walking into the doctor's

office.

"Just one will do," | said helplessly.

Tyler and Theo exchanged glances with each other, neither of them willing to give in.

| rolled my eyes hard. "Both of you go in, then."

| turned around and left after they went in.

After getting into a cab upon leaving the hospital, | looked at the prescription in my hands for a very long time

before folding it and putting it into my pocket.

Medicine could not cure my illness...

When | was about to reach home, Theo gavea call.

| answered the call but did not put it close to my ear. Sure enough, | was wise because Theo's furious roar

boomed out. "Wanda Lane! Are you trying to pissoff? Where the heck are you?"

"I'm in a cab." I looked out the window. "I'm about to reach home."

"Wait there!" Theo continued to scream, "I'll show you!"

I smirked. "Oh, I'm so scared."

| hung up after saying that.

Theo chnot long after | arrived. He stormed into the room. "Wanda Lane! Have | indulged you too much

lately?"

| languidly sat up from the bed and said, "Don't be angry, President Grant. | cback first because | wasn't

feeling well. You understand that, don't you?"

"You're not feeling well?" Theo frowned. "Where don’t you feel well?"

| shrugged. "I'm okay now."

Theo fell silent for a very long tand then walked u p to me, saying helplessly, "What am | going to do with

you?"

I smiled but did not continue with the conversation.

Theo's phone started ringing. After taking a glance at i t, | saw that it was Zedd.

He answered the call. | had no interest in listening to their conversation, so | lay back down on the bed and

began playing with my phone.

After hanging up the call, he bent down to hold me. " Zedd wants to buy you a meal."

"He wants to buya meal?" | looked at him with a slight smile. "Are you sure?"

Was Zedd trying to poison me?

Theo nodded. "He has yet to apologize to you after the previous incident."

"Told you." | sneered. "He'll only buya meal if the sun rises from the west."

"Are you going or not, then?"

| thought about it and nodded. "I'll go."

Why would I not go when Zedd was going to do something as awesas apologizing to me?

Theo and | went out the door at six o'clock and arrived at Lucky Restaurant before seven.

When | entered the private room, apart from Zedd and Mason, | saw Cindy as well. Fortunately, | was in a good

mood. Otherwise, | would have slammed the door and left.

Theo looked sullen when he looked at Zedd. "What is she doing here?"
