Chapter 115:

“Stop, you scoundrel!” 2 priests yelled, following me.

“Haha, as if I will stop for you,” I said, jumping onto the closes rooftop while laughing.

“You have stolen property of the church. Return it right now.” The first one yelled, landing on the rooftop behind me.

“Stole? That was not the property of the church, and you know that. Hmm, or are you guys in league with the Pandas?” I said back, jumping to the next rooftop.

“Pandas?” The one guy said, looking at his companion.

“Don’t look at me. I have no idea what she is talking about.” His companion said, shrugging.

“You guys really are oblivious,” I said, jumping on a high roof looking down at them.

“What did you just say!” They both yelled, coming to a stop looking up at me.

.....

“I said you guys are oblivious. How don’t you know your enemies are black pandas, huh!?” I said, looking at them as if they were stupid.

“Uuuuh, she kind of has a point, you know.” The priest on the right said, looking at his companion.

“... are you for real right now?” The guy said, staring at his companions’ stupidity.

“How stupid can you be. taking your eyes off the scoundrel!” A Bishop yelled, coming from behind them and passing them in a blink of an eye.

‘Hmm, he is quite fast. I guess I need to start running now.’ I thought jumping to the next build starting to run again but faster than before.

“Damn, she was just playing with us.” The bishop said, seeing me running faster.

“Hey, don’t be like-” I said, looking behind me, looking at the bishop only to see 5 black figures jump up to the roofs behind them. Seeing the figures, I already knew who they were.

“Shit, watch out from behind,” I yelled, stopping before running at the bishop.

‘I seriously don’t want to save these dumbasses, but I will rather sit with an angel cult than a devil one.’ I thought while creating two katanas in my hands.

“Hah, like I will fall for that.” The bishop said, getting in a fighting stance.

“Your dumbass!” I shouted, seeing his actions. Not stopping, I flash step past him, blocking a sword stab aimed at his back with both katanas.

“What the!?” The bishop exclaimed, surprised seeing people attack them from behind.

“Idiot, get your sword out and help you-,” I said, but before I could finish, I saw both the priest that chased me was already dead on the ground.

“Tsk, too late, run,” I said, pushing the guys away before grabbing the bishop by the color and running away.

‘If that guy didn’t hold back, he would have broken my katanas easily. They are definitely stronger than the previous group.’ I thought, dispelling the katanas in my hands.

“What are you doing!? let me go!”

“Mister bishop, shut the fuck up and listen quietly. Those people are stronger than we are, and we are outnumbered. if you are wondering who those people are, they are the ones that destroyed your little church a few days ago.” I said, annoyed letting him run on his own.

“I see, okay, so you want to work together for now.” The bishop said calmly, surprising me.

“You calmed down real fast there,” I said, smiling.

“It’s part of the job. However, don’t expect me to let you go even after this.”

“... sigh, dumb angel lovers. whatever we can work together, but I am certain they are after me actually. So, you can leave,” I said, hoping he will actually get out of the way.

“You want me to leave? They are people who attacked the church. as a bishop, it is my duty to take revenge.” The bishop said with a severe tone.

“Well, good. then go get reinforcements.” I said just before Sparta kicking him into the distance.

“Haaaaa,” the bishop yelled, flying into the air leaving a small blood trail behind.

‘He should survive that, right? I hope so.’ I thought, feeling a bit awkward at the amount of blood that came out of him.

“Heh, was he getting in the way.” one of the Devil cult people said, landing on the same rooftop as me.

“Hmm, in a way, he actually was getting in the way, but it’s more to lessen the witnesses,” I said with a thoughtful look.

“Heh, witnesses to your death, demon fox.” Another devil cultist said, landing on the roof to my left not long after another 8 followed, landing on the rooftops all around me.

“My death? I guess I might die. Nah, that’s impossible. You guys are too weak for that.” I said, smirking at them.

‘Well, I might not die, but I have no chance of winning this fight.’ I thought, looking at the sunset in the distance.

“Damn, you fuck actually ruined a perfect date I could have had with Kayda,” I mumbled, narrowing my eyes at the devil cultists.

“Sir, should we look for the bishop as well?” One of the newest devil cultists asked their capital.

“No, as she said, we might not be able to kill her, but with the numbers we have, we should be able to capture her at least.” the captain explains, getting out his daggers.

‘Huh? capture me? that will be even harder.’ I thought, raising an eyebrow at them.

“Yes, sir!” they all yelled at the same time, getting in fighting stances.

“Hmm, so only 10? I am certain I heard more running around.’ I whispered, a bit confused.

“What did she just whisper?” The devils’ cultist asked his companion.

“I don’t know. I didn’t hear anything.” He said, shrugging.

“Whatever, get ready, guys, let’s take her down.” the captain yelled, running at me.

“Heh, bring it on,” I said, changing my clothes to my usual sports bra with a scarf and my cargo pants with ankle boots. Under my scarf, though, I started making an ice shield for in case they went for decapitating me.

“She is quite hot.” I heard a devil cultist mumbled to herself.

“Sorry, but I am taken for the time being,” I said, creating 5 throwing knives in each hand before throwing them at them.

“Ugh!”

“Damnit!”

‘Only 2, really? they are good.’ I thought, seeing that I was only able to get 2 of them.

“Don’t get distracted. She is very good with weapons.” the captain said swing his sword at me.

Clung!

“You might be right about that,” I said, stopping his sword with my own.

Pushing against him, I jumped upwards, dodging 3 other swords coming down towards me. Falling to the ground, I landed on a panda’s back, making him fall to the ground face first.

“Uhg!”

“But that intel gives you nothing,” I said bring my swords down, killing the guy I was standing on.

“You never know.” the captain said, appearing next to me, trying to stab my gut.

“Tsk,” clicking my tongue, I jumped away again, leaving my sword behind in the corpse.

“She is unarmed. Get her.” One of the cultists said, running at me.

“Wait!!” the captain yelled at his subordinate, only to see the head flying.

“Tsk, tsk, you guys are too normal.’ I said, putting the bloody scythe on my shoulder.

“Where did that come from?” the devils’ cultist said, looking at my scythe.

‘6 left. I wonder where Kayda is. she did say she will distract the church for me to get the pillar, but why hasn’t she come and find me.’ I thought to myself only to see a bright glimmer in the far distance.

“Aah, I see, so you guys already have someone to hold Kayda busy,” I said, a bit worried about it.

“Of course, we have all the preparations needed.”

“Well, your preparations aren’t without flaws,” I said, getting in my own fighting stance, holding a scythe behind my back with one free hand in front of me.

“We will see about that.” the captain said, running at me again.

‘Hmm, he does have something planned, but what can he do with 6 people.’ I thought, blocking his blows while keeping my eyes on the other around me.

“You really don’t know what we’re capable off?” the captain said, smirking. “Do it now!”

Slink!

“Cough, wow, that was actually unexpected,” I said, coughing up blood looking at the 5 swords that were stabbed through my chest from multiple directions.

“I actually thought we wouldn’t have been able to kill you, but I guess I was wrong.” The captain said, calmly stabbing me through the heart.
