There were more zombies on the loose charging right at her.

*Swoosh!* *Fwoosh!*

While engulfed in Dark flames, she propelled herself across the hall, decapatating each and every one of the zombies in one smooth swing.

[Dark Flame Blitz]

Her figure seemed to almost blur out as she slayed them one by one.

Not before long their flaming heads could be seen laying beside their corpses on the floor. They had mostly turned to ashes.

Despite having slain around seven, more of the flaming zombies made her way towards her.

It was as if there was no end to them.

Delta frowned once more before running towards the end of the hall.

Even with everything collapsing all around, the fire and smoke spreading even more, she kept on the move.

She couldn't stop,

She curved right on the curve, leaping over a flaming zombie and onto the wall.

She ran across the wall, using the flames to propel her up before kicking off of it to a left turn.

This time, at the very end she could see two large reinforced metal doors. They were glowing red from all the heat and had a hole torn in them.

To the right of it was a room which was used for training ability users.

Delta recognised it right away as it was where she was put initially before having been segregated because of an accident caused by her losing control of her powers.

In the burning flames ahead of her, two flaming zombies emerged in a lunge at her.

Seeing this, she kicked off the side of the wall and positioned her legs at an angle where her body was facing the doors.

[Dark Flame... Jet]

Sparks of Dark Flames ignited behind her leg only to burst out in dark flames instantaneously.

Her body was propelled right past the zombies, lighting them up in the dark flames as she passed by them.

Within just a few seconds, her body flashed past the hole, entering the room at that instant.

Her eyes widened upon crash-landing onto the wall.

On the other end of the room, to the side of the door where she had entered, she could see two figure's whose body were in flames.

They were unrecognisable, not just because of the flames which had melted and devoured them. It was something much more than that.

She could feel a sinister and ominous vibe in the air... Traces of another ability.

Something inhuman.

Just as she was about to head over to them to check, she felt a chill rush down her spine.

She looked to the opposite corner of the room and her heart sank.

There stood a figure clouded in shadows and darkness, sitting by the corner.

'When did that... Thing appear...?'

She hadn't notice it earlier, but it had been sitting there the entire time.

'I hadn't felt it's presence at all...?'

She raised up her guard and leapt off of the wall. She wasn't sure what it was but the fact that it was standing there, seemingly unaffected by the flames.

The figure's head tilted to the side as it looked up.

"One... More left...?" It asked before slowly getting up.

Delta's heart began to pound faster and faster whilst she watched the figure get up.

She placed her hands on the hilt of the other katana on her waist before leaning in towards it.

[Dark Flame Blitz.]

Her figure blurred out, a trial of dark flames rushed through the flames towards the shadowy figure. She had identified it as a threat to be eliminated. The bloodlust said it all.

Upon getting within a three-meter radius of it, she swung her sword, aiming right for it's neck.

'I'll deal with it before it can-'

*Clang!*

Upon colliding with it's shadowy neck, her sword was knocked back.

'What!?'

*BOOM!*

A burst of pressure travelled through Delta's figure as a large dark shadowy hand was thrust at her from the figure.

It ended up hitting nothing but flames however, as she appeared with her legs implanted onto the wall to it's left.

She had used the jet to propel herself away to avoid being hit.

She kicked off, the wall, using the jets to propel herself before swinging at it again, dark flames trail on the back of her blade.

[Dark Flame Slash]

*Swoosh*

Her pupils dilated as the blade slashed right through the figure. It was as it wasn't even standing there in the first place.

*Spurt*

A cut formed on the side of Delta's cheek as a long dark blade suddenly emerged through the figure's arm which had been pointed at her.

She kicked at it forward, stopping said kick right ahead of it's face.

[Dark Flame Jet.]

Dark flames burst out of the edges of her feet, propelling her back.

At that moment, dark needle-like spikes emerged from the figure extending themselves at her.

*Thud*

Her back slammed against the wall.

Cold sweat dripped down her face, she had avoided the spikes which had extended out of it, by a hair's margin. One had pierced the wall right beside her just inches away from her neck.

"Must kill all..." A voice whispered in her ears.

She turned back and found the the wall beside her, was completely covered in a shadow. Through this shadow eyes rested and moved around.

All of the eyes were staring right at her.

Fear.

She was living a nightmare.

[Dark Flame Engulfment-]

*Pierce*

[Shadow Coffin.]

The entire room was closed off, inside out. Spikes and needles of all kinds filled the room piercing anything and everything inside.

The bones belonging to the bodies of the two figures were impaled and crushed to smithereens.

It was instant death for whatever resided on the inside of the room.

'...A monster... I've confirmed what I needed to... I need to get out of here and search for those who've survived.' Delta thought to herself.

Her figure could be seen flying across the hall coated in flames.

She had fortunately gotten away by turning her body into dark flames and travelling out of the room before it could unleash it's attack.

Had she not done that.

She would have died.
