Serenity was the only one who could male Jackson feel this way! Jackson willingly submitted to her. Even if she

wanted him on his knees, he would be more than happy to oblige.

“No matter what happens, don’t leave, please.” All Jackson wanted was for her to stay. His father had loved his

mother the same way, but his mother had eventually left him, leaving his father in despair. Serenity was unlike his

“Hey, say you won’t leave me.” Jackson gazed down at her, his dark eyes twinkling

Serenity blinked and broke into a smile. “I’ll never leave you. What made you think of that all of a sudden?”

“Probably because…” Jackson hesitated for a moment and eventually confessed, “I suddenly thought about my

parents earlier. The more you love someone, the more you fear losing them. Losing them will put you in despair.”

Serenity was stunned. She had rarely heard about his real emotions. She knew his mother had left his father at his

father’s lowest. As a result, his father had frozen to death in the middle of the snow. This must have been

Jackson was just a child when all that happened. Serenity’s mind went back to the first time they had met. Jackson

Serenity’s gentle voice made Jackson feel at ease. “Will we stay together forever?” he murmured.
