Liliana could not even begin to describe how she was feeling right now.

you hate me so much that you wouldn’t even touch my stuff?”

Serenity tried to break free from the man’s grip but to no avail. His hand merely gripped her tighter.

“I just think it’ll be a hassle to return the coat. Besides, it’s hot right now, so my shirt will dry in no time,”

replied Serenity. “That means you’re okay with people looking at you like this?” his eyes skimmed over

her as he said that.

Her body stiffened, “A gentleman wouldn’t look,” she said. In her mind, she kept telling herself that it’s

no different from wearing a swimsuit! A swimsuit!

“I’ve never thought of myself as a gentleman!” Lucas forcibly draped the coat over her. “The way you

look right now, you’re increasing your chances of getting harassed.”

“You” she blushed profusely.

“Also, you don’t have to give me back the coat. You can just throw it away or give it away, I don’t care.”

He simply did not want the public to see her like this.

It was weird. If she was any other woman, he wouldn’t have cared at all, but the moment he saw her

Lucas‘ eyes dimmed. “Who do you fear would misunderstand? Your family? Or… Jackson Valor?”

Serenity kept quiet, but the intention of refusal in her eyes was firm.

Lucas laughed at himself. Usually, he was the one who rejected others, but this woman had rejected

He sighed and gave her a choke. “Either you go back wearing my coat or you buy a new shirt and

change into it. I don’t want to see you going back in this state.”

Serenity was about to retort when Lucas added, “I’ll keep you here until you take one of the two

options. Let’s see who runs out of patience first!”

Serenity was speechless. If she stayed here with the prince of the entertainment industry, she would

probably make the news headlines torturrow!

Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a clothing store nearby. She quickly said, “I’ll buy

a new shirt.”

“Good, Where do you plan to buy it?” he asked.

“Over there, I guess.” She pointed at the clothing store.
