Like she had expected, the bracelet…was really in her purse..

Vicky looked at the bracelet and told Tyler about what had happened. “After I left Missus Mills, I

accidentally knocked over Maria. But I don’t remember her, so I wasn’t on high alert. After I went

downstairs, she started

to cause trouble before I could find you.”

It did not take much to know Tyler must have discovered the bracelet while searching the purse and

hiding it. Come to think of it, maybe that was Tyler’s intention when he suggested searching her purse

himself.

With that thought in her mind, she looked at Tyler.

He was sitting elegantly on the seat while looking so noble, like he was born with it. It looked like he was

a little tired. His eyes were closed, and his voice suggested that he did not care much.

“You don’t have to thank me. You’re right. I don’t want the woman I married to be called a thief.”

There was a strange feeling appearing in Vicky’s heart as she looked at Tyler’s handsome face from the

side.‘ This man is not really as unreasonable and stupid as I thought.‘

All the while, she thought he was an unreasonable man who only cared about his beloved woman. He

was so dumb to only believe the others and not his own wife.

From the looks of it, it was not what she thought.

When she was being framed and accused of being a thief, he was the first one who stepped out to help

her.

Although there was a big loophole in Maria’s plan, Vicky had to admit it was near perfection. The

loophole in the plan was from a logical point of view. Maria did not search for her bracelet before she

insisted Vicky was the one who had taken her bracelet.

The perfection in the plan was Maria knew everyone was waiting to see Vicky fall. That was why the

loophole in the plan was automatically being ignored.

Missus Mills told Vicky that every time Harvey’s name was mentioned, Tyler would be angry. Under

normal situations, the angry Tyler would not notice this small loophole and lash out at her in front of

everyone. The way Tyler treated her in public would determine her ending.

Perhaps, Maria was trying to use the point on how Vicky still has feelings for Harvey to trigger Tyler. It

was supposed to be perfect how Maria manipulated a person’s feelings.

However, Maria did not know Vicky had lost her memory. Tyler knew it, so naturally, he knew Vicky did

not remember Maria and Harvey.
