Sean was taken aback for a moment.

Then, his eyes revealed a hint of frustration. He saw the blacked-out screen of the phone, and instantly understood

why Enzo had asked him that question.

"You're wrong." Sean lifted his head, and his small eyes carried a coldness that seemed endless as he gazed at

Enzo.

than he does you, doesn't he?"

Sean continued to deny it.

He would never admit that he wasn't important to his father. As an older brother, he hoped to bear all the anger

and hurt that he could.

"I've told you," Sean said solemnly. "I'm important in our family."

But Enzo remained skeptical. It was mainly because Julian had abruptly ended the video call, which seemed too

direct and uncaring.

He had shown the man a video of his own son, for goodness ' sake! Yet, it seemed like Julian didn't care at all!

Sean knew this fact couldn't be ignored, so he remembered what Tommy had said before bringing him here.

"I'm the heir of our family," he said seriously. "How important do you think I am?"

After all, he was just a child. It didn't take much to get the truth out of him. When he got angry about being

considered less important than his sister, he inadvertently revealed this crucial piece of information.

Children didn't lie, and Enzo believed in that.

So, he gave Sean a more sinister look. "If that's the case, you’ll be the last piece on my chessboard."

Sean's heart skipped a beat when he heard that. His calm expression suddenly changed, and he grabbed Enzo's

hand tightly.

"What do you mean by the last piece? What are you planning to do with my sister?"

Sean tugged at Enzo's clothes, and refused to let go. He had a surprisingly strong grip for a child. It was as if he had

transformed from a trapped cub into an angry little lion.

He inherited Julian's coldness and determination in full measure.

"I said I'm the heir of the Fulcher family! Didn't you hear me? What are you planning to do with my sister? If you

touch her, my dad isn't the only one you'll need to be scared of!"

Seeing that Enzo remained silent and only glared at him menacingly, Sean went straight to the door, blocking

Enzo's way out.

"I won't allow you to harm my sister!"

Unfortunately, he was too small.

In Enzo's eyes, this kind of determination lacked the strength to back it up.

Sean was easily pushed back to the ground with a gentle lift of Enzo's hand.
