CHAPTER 70 - Little Celebration

It did not take them time to arrive at the restaurant of his choosing. They got their table and made their orders. Within a few minutes, the duo began to eat ignoring their surroundings.

Personally, Liu Xueyi was not one to be bothered by the crowd and he did his fair share of choosing the restaurant he visited personally.

This time, since it wasn't booked, they could not get a private room, so he had to use the VIP space upstairs away from regular people.

Not that it was bad. They had a few people dining there as well. So his privacy was still given.

Sadly, as much as Andromeda loved her peace of mind, she was soon going to realize that being with him took that away from her, adding to her problems.

At another corner of the sparsely populated place, a couple enjoyed their meal over small talk.

The young lady did not notice anything until she laughed and turned her head in the direction, Liu Xueyi was seated.

She paused. Her smile dropped a tad bit as her sharp owl of an eye narrowed at him.

'What do we have here? Am I glad to meet you again or what?' She jubilated inwardly.

No sooner had she done that than her gaze moved to the side and landed on Andromeda. He was not alone.

That was not what irked her but the way and manner in which Liu Xueyi smiled at the lady's joke, something that was hard to see when the CEO of Liu Corporation was out.

Her smile dropped totally with veins popping at either side of her head. 'The nerve!'

"Mo Feng Yi," she heard the masculine voice of the man she was with reach out to her in a concerned tone.

Putting on the best smile she could muster at that point in time, her façade was back on and she turned her head back to him. "Huh, nothing."

"Are you sure? You seemed stunned to me for a minute there," the older-looking man asked.

She nodded her answer before reaching for her glass of wine. "Cheers."

"Cheers."

Not wanting to bring suspicion her way, she reached for his thigh and slowly slid her hand in a forward and backward motion.

His eyes dilated a bit at the feel of her hand. She always knew how to keep her victims in her grasp and this old geezer wasn't one to slip from it.

A soft moan fell off his lips when he felt her fingers reach his forbidden area and press on his manhood.

She watched through keen seductive eyes, taking note of his every expression.

His breathing shallowed. How his senses seemed to have been thrown out the window from her little show.

Just when he thought he would get more, she withdrew her hand quickly.

His eyes snapped open. She could see the trace of disappointment etched within them. He did not shy away from embarrassment. Instead, she knew he wanted more.

'Lousy old man. If not that I need you to sign this business deal, would I allow you even speak to me?'

She breathed out and winked at him. "I am coming, Ma Wan. I need a touch-up to make you more…" she let her voice trail off, her gaze lingering on his already growing bulge and smiled again.

"No need. You are already too beautiful."

Not wanting this feeling to stop, Ma Wan reached for her thighs but she evaded him nicely and stood up.

"Impatient. I like that but not now. I would be back."

The second she left his table, she put on her sunglasses, dropping her smile as she cat-walked with precision slowly, to the soundless rhythm of the unknown Dj in her mind and made her way towards the restroom.

Each step she took was fluid and precise, ensnarling the eyes of most of the men around in her dark blue thigh-high bodycon gown.

She had barely gotten close to Liu Xueyi's table when she caught sight of them playing adorable.

"There is something on your lips," Liu Xueyi pointed out.

Her eyes widened. "Huh, where?" Andromeda asked. The look of shock and innocence made him drop a sigh.

"Here." He reached for her lips and wiped the stain clin from the side of her lips and beneath it. "There, all good," he noted, withdrawing his hand.

"Oh, thank you." She beamed her usually smile and picked up her drink. "Cheers."

He lifted his glass as well and clicked it against hers, bringing it to his lips.

Just as Andromeda was about to do the same, she failed to notice the lady who seemingly missed her step close to her and clutched onto her chair.

She had made everything perfect and shook the chair, causing Andromeda to spill the drink on her body.

"Oh my!" Mo Feng Yi half exclaimed in shock. "My apologies."

"No. No. Do not worry a thing," Andromeda dismissed and took the napkin from Liu Xueyi to wipe her body.

Good thing she was putting on a dark purple gown, else it would have left an obvious stain.

All the while, Mo Feng Yi ensured she had her back to Liu Xueyi as she assisted Andromeda in cleaning herself.

Not wanting to be touched by a total stranger, Andromeda evaded her hand by all means and politely told her off. "It's okay, really. You can go. I am fine."

"Are you sure?" Mo Feng Yi asked again, this time, changing her voice.

"Yes. It is all good."

"I'm sorry." She dipped in her head a bit and readjusted her glasses before continuing on her way.

Liu Xueyi's eyes dimmed after her. That was a suspicious act, he noted.

She was walking farther from them but all of a sudden she happened to be close to them? He didn't buy it except she was drunk.

"Are you alright?"

Andromeda nodded and placed both her napkin and his on the table. "I am." All the while she maintained her smile.

The last thing she needed was to make him worry but, that did not mean she was going to let matters slide.

"I am fine, in fact. Please excuse me, I need to use the restroom and clean up properly. My fingers are sticky."

"Oh, alright. I would be here. I'm sorry once again."

"No. It wasn't your fault. I'll be back."
