“Who wouldn’t be tempted, there are treasures from timmemorial in there, even immortal items in the legends. The great dynasties are coming too.” Someone commented before moving onward, not wanting to miss out on potential gains.

He turned and saw a fat woman with numerous freckles and snacks in her hands - Minisun Grand Emperor.
She saw the ten loops on his arms and bowed deeply.
“How should I properly address you, Young Noble?” She looked respectful and slightly confused.
“Whatever you want.” He said.
“I do not dare to be presumptuous.” She smiled wyly and shook her head.
“Because of them?” He smiled.
“You know better than I do, Young Noble.” She confirmed he was a mortal but this couldn’t possibly be the case.
“I do not, I picked them up by chance.” He said.
“That doesn’t sound right...” She felt a bit vexed.
“What’s not right? Just pieces of metal that happen to get in my possession.” He said.
“Young Noble, that’s a disrespectful comment toward our Enigma Dynasty, but since you’re the bearer, you can do as you please.” The emperor said.
“It’s your business.” Li Qiye shrugged.
“Do you know their significance, Young Noble?” She couldn’t confirm Li Qiye’s identity since he was so different than the legend.
“You tell me.” He responded.
“Young Noble, they are of utmost importance to our dynasty, these Enigma Loops.” She hesitated briefly before telling the truth.
“So they’re your heirlooms.” He said.
“More than that, they represent the highest authority of our dynasty.” She told the truth.
“Highest authority?” Li Qiye said.
“You don’t know at all, Young Noble?” She was surprised.
“As I said, I merely found it. Its relation to your dynasty has nothing to do with me.” He shrugged.
“But... since you’re the bearer, I can tell you the truth. They only appear under specific circumstances.” She said.

“No dynasties last forever.” He shook his head.
“I wholeheartedly believe that they are the reason for our tenacity, Young Noble.” She insisted.
“Then they contain the secrets of your dynasty.” He said.
She took a deep breath and asked the question on her mind: “Young Noble, are you Hidden Ancestor?”
“I am not your Hidden Ancestor.” He shook his head.
“Then how did you cacross these loops, Young Noble?” She bowed respectfully.
“I picked it up on the street.” He smiled.
“That can’t be possible, at least in theory.” She had an awkward smile.
“Then I killed your Hidden Ancestor?” He asked without changing his expression.
She stared at him for a bit before responding: “I wouldn’t know, I have never seen Hidden Ancestor before, the oldest and most mysterious of our dynasty.”
