Chapter 1015

"I heard Miss Sweeney isn't feeling well!"

Carley overheard sof the gossip but paid it no mind. She knew her arrival would spark discussions, but she didn't care. After all, her purpose was

to show everyone that her face had healed. She was no longer the ugly duckling.

Nola and Mrs. Kaur entered the room and immediately noticed the radiant Sylvia and the beautifully transformed Carley. Both women were stunning

and drew everyone's attention, making Nola's eyes burn with jealousy.

"Mom! Look at them!"

"Ah, my daughter is not ugly; she's very pretty too," Mrs. Kaur consoled Nola, hiding her bitterness. Compared to Sylvia and Carley, she and her

daughter felt shabby. They lacked the others’ figures, grace, and beauty. It was infuriating!

Jocelyn hid in the lounge, smashing everything in sight in a fit of rage. "Damn it! Why does Carley get to be so beautiful while | becso hideous?"

The servants trembled in fear, not daring to move. Jocelyn had sent them to check if Carley had arrived, and they reported that Carley wore the latest

limited edition Moonlight gown from X brand. This news drove Jocelyn mad.

"Miss... please don't be angry. She looks good now, but she'll get ugly again soon," a servant cautiously tried to comfort Jocelyn.

"You know nothing!" Jocelyn seethed with rage. She had to make Carley pay. With a cold smile, she called a servant over and whispered something

in her ear. The servant was shocked. "Miss... isn't this too much?"

"What's wrong with it? Just do as | say," Jocelyn said venomously, handing the servant a small bag from a drawer. "Go! I'll be waiting for your good

news."

Carley's face had healed, and she even had a beautiful friend now. Jocelyn couldn't stand it. Her face turned pale with anger, almost fainting. Her own

face had started to rot after seeing Carley yesterday, causing excruciating pain and sleepless nights. She blamed all her suffering on Carley and

vowed revenge.

Her brothers wouldn't help her, so she would handle it herself. The thought of Carley's downfall made her smile with twisted delight, her eyes filled

with madness.

The servant left the lounge, clutching the small bag nervously but didn't dare approach Carley directly. Instead, she intercepted a familiar servant

serving drinks in the hall.

"Lettake this wine to Miss Kaur. She's friends with our Miss, who can't cdown herself," she said.

The male servant handed her the tray without suspicion. "Alright, go ahead."

The female servant took the tray to a corner, quickly slipped a small packet from the bag into the wine, and then carefully approached Carley.

"Miss Kaur, have a drink."

Carley casually took the glass, swirled it, and handed it to Sylvia. "Miss Andrews, please."

Sylvia accepted the glass, and Carley picked up another one. "Miss Andrews, thank you for everything recently. Cheers."

Sylvia smiled slightly, sniffing the wine's aroma with a glint in her eye. "It's crowded here and standing is tiring. Shall we move to the lounge?" she

suggested.

Carley nodded, feeling tired from her high heels. They greeted Clare and Dariel before heading to the lounge.

The female servant watched as Carley didn't drink the wine but placed it on a table instead. Sylvia had taken out her phone to show Carley

something, making her laugh heartily.

The servant grew anxious but could do nothing but watch from the shadows.

In the lounge, Sylvia typed a message on her phone screen for Carley to read silently: "There's something in the wine."

Carley's expression changed slightly as she mouthed the words. Sylvia nodded with a faint smile. "Yes. The smell is off. Don't drink it."

Carley pretended nothing was wrong. "How did you notice?"

Sylvia raised an eyebrow, her beautiful face glowing softly. "I studied wine for a while."

She casually scanned the room and spotted the sneaky servant hiding in a corner.

Sylvia smirked and deliberately knocked over her wine glass, spilling it on her dress with a startled gasp.

"Miss Andrews, your dress..." Carley exclaimed.

"It's alright. Let's go change in the lounge. I'll have my uncle send another dress," Sylvia said calmly.

Their stained dresses drew sattention despite being in the lounge. Clare quickly called hfor another dress.

Sylvia and Carley went to a secluded lounge.

She approached a male servant who had been leering at her earlier under the influence of alcohol.

"Why aren't you attending to Miss tonight? What are you doing here?" he asked lecherously.

"Thank you," she giggled coquettishly.

"How about we find somewhere private to chat?" he suggested.

"Too many people here," she whispered seductively in his ear. "Meetin twenty minutes in the eastern lounge."

She winked at him, leaving him parched with desire.

Knowing every corner of the Sweeney estate well from years of service, she moved confidently.

Meanwhile, Jocelyn sat in another lounge wearing a mask and hat, waiting anxiously for news.

A servant knocked and respectfully informed her, "Miss, it's done. You can go see.”

Jocelyn jumped up excitedly. "Really? Which room?"

"The northern lounge," the servant replied with head bowed.

"Great! Takethere!" Jocelyn's eyes gleamed with malicious glee. "Carley, let's see how you show off now!"

She didn't notice the unfamiliar face of the servant before rushing out towards the northern lounge.

The male servant entered the darkened lounge first and immediately grabbed someone inside. "I've missed you!" he slurred drunkenly.

Jocelyn screamed in shock as he groped her. "What are you doing?!"

He couldn't tell who he was holding and continued his assault as Jocelyn screamed for help.

Guests were puzzled by the commotion and flocked to the lounge.

"Ah! What an ugly face!"

"What happened to Jocelyn's face?"

Everyone was stunned, focusing entirely on her face rather than her disheveled state.
